The Accounting Blockchain Coalition kicked-off 2019 by partnering with BlockChainge DC 2019 to support two full days — January 14 and 15 in Washington, DC — of blockchain sessions dedicated to understanding and navigating the regulatory and legal challenges around blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
BlockChainge DC 2019 featured over 70 presentations and drew an influential crowd of attendees including members of the US House of Representatives, high-level government officials from US Commodity Future Trading Commission, the Department of Health and Human Service, corporate thought leaders, legal and regulatory experts and a number of rising startups. They came together to discuss blockchain and digital assets and how, working together, government and business can shape the future of blockchain.

BlockChainge DC 2019 plans to be an annual Washington, DC conference. It featured more than 70 substantive, interactive discussions led by more than 140 innovators and policymakers shaping the future of blockchain and cryptocurrency. Fifteen sessions focused on real examples of and discussions on lessons learned from blockchain in action across government, financial services, healthcare, voting, cybersecurity, mobile devices, and more.
